Tony & Hilda Cammaert opened their first gallery in 1973 in Antwerp. Very soon we started to focus on Japanese art and decided to come to the Sablon in 1981. As a member of the "Chambre Royale des Antiquaires" we participated at the Brussels Fair (now BRAFA) for 32 years since that time.

We attended to several international fairs: Maastricht, New-York Asian fairs, Paris Grand Palais, and others.

In 2001 we started a new chapter: we left the Sablon because Tony bought Château d'Acoz and restored it successfully. He continued his business as a specialist in Japanese Art of great beauty and high quality. His interest includes fine screens and Buddhist sculptures, samurai armour and swords, netsuke and inro, meiji art: bronzes, laquer, okimono and zen related objects of all periods.

Since 2008 we opened a new gallery near the Sablon.

Member of the Belgian expert Chamber.
